Baxter – West Highland Terrier

3 Year Old Male

West Highland Terrier

Baxter is a great lad who is looking for a new home through no fault of his own.  He is quite nervous initially but soon settles and is a fun and affectionate boy.  He will be best suited as an only dog as he can be a little pushy with other dogs around his owners.

Affection is highly prized by Baxter and he doesn’t like to share.  This said Baxter does enjoy a good game with other dogs and is great out and about with them.

He is learning all about life in a home and has settled well, he had a few accidents initially but now neutered is doing well.  Baxter would like new owners who are around for a good part of the day, he is fine to be re homed with older children 10+ as we only have a limited history for him.

Baxter travels well in the car and is both clean and quiet, he loves his walks but can be quite strong on the lead initially.  He does settle and this should improve with regular exercise and a little training.  He is good with other dogs and there may be the potential to re home him with another dog provided it’s the right match.  Baxter can be pushy so if re homed with another dog it would need to be confident and it may be best if a larger breed than Baxter.

Baxter has been neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped and is up to date with flea and worming treatments.  He is currently being fostered in Orpington Kent.
