12 Month Old Female
? Terrier cross CKC/Pom
Fostered in Beckenham, Kent
Honey came into rescue after being found as a stray, she was not claimed and so made her way into our care. On arrival she had Cherry Eye which was sore and infected, this has been treated with surgery and she has made great progress
People – Honey is a very sweet little girl, she is very small. She loves people and is happiest cuddled on your lap after a nice walk she can be nervous and hand shy so patience until she trusts will be needed
Can Live with children – Due to limited history any children would need to be older teenagers used to dogs.
Can I live with cats – Due to her terrier nature we suspect a cat and small furry free home will be the best
Can I live with other dogs – Honey likes other dogs and would be best homed with another canine companion to help her gain in confidence
Health –Following her surgery for Cherry Eye, Honey has no further known health issues
In the home – She can still be nervous of fast movements but is happy to curl up on a lap or sofa, Honey doesnt react to usual household noises. She has been clean in the house
Out and about – Good progress has been made with Honey, her confidence is growing but she will need further work on this in her new home
Type of home -Honey will be best suited to a home with another dog and no young children, she will need new owners who are around for a good part of the day and if possible, having experience of nervous dogs. A terrier savvy home would be great for this young girl
Honey has been neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped and had her Cherry Eye surgically fixed. She is up to date with flea and worming treatment.
Potential adopters will be expected to travel to Beckenham Kent to meet Honey
