12-18 Month Old Female

Jess is an adorable little girl who came into rescue via a good Samaritan, it is not known what Jess’s life was like prior to arriving with us but we do know she is a very nervous girl who is fearful of humans.  She is doing well in foster and has now found the courage to join her foster buddies on the sofa.  She does have some scarring across her lower back, again we are not certain of the cause but surmise it may be from boiling water or potentially some form of chemical.  The wound is healed and requires no treatment but in the summer months she will need sunscreen on to protect her as her coat will not grow back to protect this area.

She will need new owners who are experienced with nervous dogs and Jess must be homed with other gentle, well rounded resident dogs – please do not apply if you do not have a resident dog as this is an absolute for her re homing.  Jess settles well with the other dogs and takes her lead from them, she is clean in the house and takes no notice of the cats at all.

Jess is clean and quiet overnight and is happy to bed share in the kitchen with the other dogs.  She travels well in the car (crated) again without issue.  She will begin learning all about being on the lead and going for walks now she is recovered from her spay.  This training will be ongoing when she goes to her new home.

As Jess is so nervous no young children please, older teenagers who can give her the space to settle will be fine.  She will need new owners who are around for a good part of the day and who have the time and patience to help her settle and reach her potential.

Jess has been neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped and is up to date with flea and worming treatment.  She is currently being fostered in Aldershot Hampshire.
