12 Month Old Male
Fostered in Gosport Hampshire
Lofty is just adorable, he came to us via the pound after being found as a stray. No one came for Lofty and so his future was uncertain. Luckily he went to a great place and they sent him on to us. He is a young lad full of fun and he has a great nature to boot. What more could anyone want.
People – He loves his people and likes to be in close contact with them, he is friendly and biddable and interacts well
Can Live with children – Due to limited history any children would need to be older teenagers used to dogs.
Can I live with cats – Lofty will need a cat and small furry free home please as he does chase felines
Can I live with other dogs – Its a must for him to be re homed with another similar sized dog, Lofty has been good with both males and females and smaller dogs also, They will need to be young and like to interact as he does like a game, He also gains confidence from being with another dog
Health –This lad has no known health issues
In the home – When Lofty is with other dogs he is calm and settled, without a canine companion he can be agitated and suffer from a degree of separation anxiety, he is clean in the house and comfortable with most household sights and sounds
Out and about – He is adjusting well but can be a little nervous with unusual sights and sounds, his foster is working on building his confidence, he is better and much more confident when in the company of another canine
Type of home – A home with experience in sight hounds would be great, owners who know and love the breed will understand that life is all so new to him at the moment and sometimes a little scary. Patient and calm owners who have the time to develop and build his confidence would be wonderful.
Lofty has been neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped. He is up to date with flea and worming treatment.
