We regularly rescue puppies with cleft palates – often taking them on just after birth to hand rear them. Most of these pups would sadly die if we didn’t take them on and it is a massive undertaking. This is particularly so for those that may need surgery to correct their clefts. When that is the case, each surgery costs around £800 and often it can take two or three rounds of surgery. We think it’s worth doing, as once their clefts are fixed these pups go on to have normal happy lives – we hope you agree.
In order to take these pups on, we have to raise additional funds to cover the cost of their extended care and, when needed, surgery. That’s where our amazing supporters, people just like you, come in. We have a separate fund reserved just for our cleftie pup care and medical costs where you can either make a single donation or become a regular monthly supporter and join our Cleftie Club.
